Fuse beads are simple: choose a pattern, place the beads, then fuse the finished design with heat.
1. Pick the right size
Classic 5 mm is the everyday format. Mini 2.6 mm is for fine detail. Big 10 mm is easier to pick up and place. Match every bead size with its corresponding pegboard.
2. Place your beads
Set a clear pegboard over a pattern or work freehand. Tweezers help with precise placement and quick corrections.
3. Cover with ironing paper
Keep the design on the pegboard and place ironing paper between the beads and the iron.
4. Fuse gently
An adult must complete all ironing. Use a dry household iron, follow the iron manufacturer’s guidance, and move in small circles without holding the iron in one place. Stop when bead edges have joined.
5. Cool flat
Let the project cool before lifting it from the board. If you prefer a firmer finish, cover and briefly fuse the second side, then cool under a flat, heat-safe weight.
